I have been reading your 'blog' and find it really insightful informative & easy to read. I think you should be a journalist - you write really well!

Rob

Yes, you write well.
But don't become a journalist.
The world has enough of them.

Kirk

Johnny I love your blog. Makes me want to hear more plus send you a hamper.

Mum

yes, don't become a journalist, wouldn't you like to be an Accountant?

Trust you haven't been brought down with a case of the Sol (wink-wink) and 'work' is going well.
Came across this HRW story on the BBC website. Have a look.

Hey Smelly Glennie,
You got a point. Over in sunny Spain where everyone's too busy ploughing through bureaucracy and getting drunk on sangria to worry about civil rights, I am growing increasingly tired and irritated by the British Press (who as we all know live in Isleworth and went to Oxbridge) moaning about how the other day whilst checking in for a flight to Turin they got a little shirty with the ground staff (no upgrade to business possible, sorry madam) and were frogmarched to a detention room and questioned by the police. That's all very well and good, and I suppose they are quite right to complain about such infringements on their civil liberties, but I can't help feeling that all they're succeeding in doing is creating a society of spoilt brats. Why no stories about people whose civil rights have been taken away in a manner which, under new legislation, renders it impossible for them to continue to do their jobs or pursue their livelihoods? And why is no-one kicking up a proper stink? All these "and-as-a-result-I-was-late-picking-up-Tamara-from-ballet" stories do is undermine the issue and trivialise what I believe is a breakdown in our once great form of government.
On a lighter note, how's life?
Miss you

Lou xx
