A good read again, especially on Budget day in the UK, when the Guardian anticipates that Brown will announce another £26billions worth of PFIs for state(?) institutions - schools, hospitals, transport - which may not have the long term capacity to pay for them. Not as evil as water privatisation for the poorest, but worrying enough. Rain on! My allotment is already suffering drought - in March! Wow.

Thats a great read considering what are the effects of water privitization. I think this piece serves one important role; connecting sout-south dialogue through information on similar plights across the world that warrant similar responses. Always considering the obtaining realtivities. This is the same in trhe realm of Debt and Trade especially. I am convinced that the world is witnessing a resurgence of popular counterplanning from the civil commons. Good news for our civilization, bad for business. keep up the good work. Lets globalize hope. Aluta Continua!!!

After this reading, I have searched a bit for Evo Morales and his story. I was particularly interested by the gas wars and the nationalization of the gas fields, that at a first sight can appear as "populist". I found this link that looks a quite good analysis. http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/latin_america/jan-june06/bolivia_05-02.html
